Determined

I made this for a Sonny Digital beat contest in one day. They loved the vibe. I'm convinced I would have placed top 3 if it weren't for a copy and paste error on the chord progression because I was rushing. That urgency stayed in the track. A determined, mid-tempo trap beat where synth plucks drive the melody over a thick 808 line. Synth pads hold atmospheric space behind the rhythm while hi-hats and snare lock the pocket. The production sits in that confident, introspective lane where cloud rap meets experimental trap energy: dark but inspiring, tight but open. The beat opens with the plucks and builds as the 808 walks in. Pads float through the arrangement, giving the track room to breathe between the rhythm's attack. The low end anchors everything while the top stays light and melodic. It holds that determined feeling from start to finish, where confidence meets introspection without tipping either way.
