Accessibility

I want every artist to be able to hear, read and license what's here, however they get around the web.

My commitment

I work on accessibility as part of building this site, and I keep at it as the site changes.

The standard I aim for

I aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What you can do

You should be able to:

Zoom in to 200% without losing content or features
Move through the site with a keyboard alone
Turn off animations with your device's "reduce motion" setting

How I check it

I test the site with automated accessibility tools and by moving through pages with a keyboard alone, then fix what turns up.

The music

The beats are instrumental, so there are no lyrics to caption. Every beat's Track Sheet describes it in text: tempo, key, mood, instruments and arrangement.

Third-party tools

Some parts of the site come from other providers, like the audio player, the cookie banner and the social sign-in buttons. I adjust them where I can, but I don't control all of their code.

If something gets in your way

Tell me through the contact form. Let me know which page you were on and what happened, or what you need in a different format. I read these myself.

If anything on the site stands between you and licensing a beat, I'll help you finish it another way.
